Q-350 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

APG stocks the QV70350, an AS568-350 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.02 in (127.51 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
