Q-351 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

APG stocks the QV70351, an AS568-351 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.145 in (130.68 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
