Q-426 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-426 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm), catalogued under part number QV70426. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
