Q-437 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70437 is an AS568-437 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.525 in (165.74 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
