Q-442 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70442 is an AS568-442 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or ketones and esters. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
