APG stocks the RWH0500H90, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Wiper Type WH Wiper Seal supplied with a 1/2 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal scrapes dirt, moisture and debris from an extending rod before it can reach the primary seal. Source specification: 8600 Rod Wiper.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present.
