Product Specification

-
APG stocks the S70FDA206, an AS568-206 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across ovens and heated equipment, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

S70FDA206 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.666 g. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application. APG can cross-reference from an existing part number, a drawing or a physical sample if this size is not an exact match.
