The S70FDA236 is an AS568-236 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.234 in (82.14 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.512 in (89.2 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and dry heat. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids are present.
