Product Specification

-
Part number S70FDA255 is an AS568-255 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone delivers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Expect good resistance to dry heat, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.

S70FDA255 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 6.27 g. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
