The S70FDA359 is an AS568-359 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
