Product Specification

-
The S70FDA385 is an AS568-385 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.375 in (415.93 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone delivers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. It sees regular use in medical devices, sanitary process lines, and ovens and heated equipment.

Reference part number S70FDA385 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 40.62 g. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. Not finding the exact configuration you need?
