Product Specification

-
Ordered as S70FDA434, this is an AS568-434 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is specified for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The compound resists dry heat, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to concentrated acids or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across ovens and heated equipment, medical devices, and electronics and electrical enclosures.

Reference part number S70FDA434 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 26.0759 g. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation.
