-216 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD216, an AS568-216 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.
