Product Specification

-
The S70042 is an AS568-042 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices, and electronics and electrical enclosures.

This item is sold individually under part number S70042. Unit weight is approximately 0.958 g. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation.
