APG stocks the S1X10, a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10 mm (0.394 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 12 mm (0.47 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. This material stands up to dry heat, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range.
