Ordered as S1.5X10, this is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 10 mm (0.394 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 13 mm (0.51 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and exceptionally wide service temperature range. This material stands up to dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
