-115 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70115, an AS568-115 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.674 in (17.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.88 in (22.35 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is widely chosen for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.

It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
