4MM CS X 12MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S4X12 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 12 mm (0.472 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 20 mm (0.79 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and many oxidizing chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
