The S1X13 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13 mm (0.512 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 15 mm (0.59 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
