2MM CS X 15MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

The S2X15 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15 mm (0.591 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 19 mm (0.75 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. Typical settings include ovens and heated equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
