Ordered as S1X16, this is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 18 mm (0.71 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
