4MM CS X 16MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

The S4X16 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 24 mm (0.94 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and sanitary process lines.
