The S2X18 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 18 mm (0.709 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 22 mm (0.87 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone offers physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
