4MM CS X 18MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S4X18 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 18 mm (0.709 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 26 mm (1.02 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to weathering, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone offers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact. Typical settings include sanitary process lines, ovens and heated equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
