-227 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70227 is an AS568-227 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.109 in (53.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.387 in (60.63 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to weathering, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.
