S4X32 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 32 mm (1.26 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 40 mm (1.57 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.
The compound resists weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
