Part number S70357 is an AS568-357 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.895 in (149.73 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is widely chosen for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.
