Product Specification

-
APG stocks the S70366, an AS568-366 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.645 in (194.18 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is known for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids are present.

It sees regular use in medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.

Order part number S70366, sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 18.715 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 7 1/4 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
