3MM CS X 38MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S3X38 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 38 mm (1.496 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 44 mm (1.73 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to weathering, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
