4MM CS X 38MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

The S4X38 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 38 mm (1.496 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 46 mm (1.81 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to weathering, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. It sees regular use in medical devices, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
