1.6MM CS X 5.1MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

Part number S1.6X5.1 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.1 mm (0.201 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 8.3 mm (0.33 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The material holds up against many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
