5MM CS X 52MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S5X52 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 52 mm (2.047 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 62 mm (2.44 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is widely chosen for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids.
