2MM CS X 6MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

The S2X6 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6 mm (0.236 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 10 mm (0.39 in). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, ovens and heated equipment, and food and beverage processing.
