S4X7 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 15 mm (0.59 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone offers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Expect good resistance to extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
