2MM CS X 70MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S2X70 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 70 mm (2.756 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 74 mm (2.91 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range are present.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and medical devices.
