Ordered as S3X74.5, this is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 74.5 mm (2.933 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 80.5 mm (3.17 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
