Ordered as SV70009, this is an AS568-009 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
