This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-022 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm), catalogued under part number SV70022. It seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
