Ordered as SV70118, this is an AS568-118 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.862 in (21.89 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.068 in (27.13 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

It resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
