APG stocks the SV70133, an AS568-133 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.799 in (45.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.005 in (50.93 mm). A square-cut ring provides an economical lathe-cut alternative where a moulded o-ring is not required.
Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present. The profile itself contributes a rectangular section that will not roll in the groove and greater resistance to extrusion than a round section of the same size. Note that a square section is less suited to high-speed rotary service, where the larger contact area raises friction and heat.
Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
Stocked as SV70133 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 1 13/16 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
