The TES70012 is an AS568-012 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and strong resistance to permeation. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
