568-020 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-020 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.864 in (21.95 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.004 in (25.5 mm), catalogued under part number TES70020. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, wide temperature swings, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
