Product Specification

APG stocks the TES70037, an AS568-037 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.489 in (63.22 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.629 in (66.78 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers strong resistance to permeation and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and wide temperature swings. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, and chemical processing.

TES70037 ships individually. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design.
