568-128 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70128 is an AS568-128 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. The compound resists wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
