568-135 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-135 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.925 in (48.9 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.131 in (54.13 mm), catalogued under part number TES70135. As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and strong resistance to permeation. This material stands up to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
