PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. The material holds up against wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
