Ordered as TES70226, this is an AS568-226 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.984 in (50.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.262 in (57.45 mm). It resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
