568-231 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Part number TES70231 is an AS568-231 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
