TES70249 is an AS568-249 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope. Additional detail on this item: ORING 70 Durometer.
It resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across food and beverage processing, cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, and chemical processing.
TES70249 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 4 7/8 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
