568-335 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70335 is an AS568-335 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.725 in (69.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.145 in (79.88 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

Expect good resistance to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and strong resistance to permeation. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
